Julie & Michael’s wedding day started at the Sheraton Hotel on Canal St., where we photographed the bride and groom in their rooms. We had planned to do photos in the lobby, but it was being renovated. We made do, and the photos came out very nice. On to St. Anthony of Padua Church, further up on Canal, where they had a lovely ceremony, followed by a group photo of the entire bridal party in front of the church. Julie had originally wanted everyone jumping in the air, which I hesitate to try as someone could get hurt. I suggested we have everyone walking toward the camera arm-in-arm, which worked perfectly. We hurried to the Magnolia Plantation for the reception, which capped off the evening with everyone having a great time.
