The Balcony Ballroom in Metairie, LA, is one of the stalwart wedding venues in the New Orleans area. Though it’s been serving brides and grooms for generations, it’s continued to be updated and current in decor and service. I’ve never seen a wedding that didn’t go off fabulously there, and Shelby and Daniel’s wedding was no exception. We started off with photos at Shelby’s family home in Belle Chase, where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids and family. It was a beautiful day the the window light allowed me to get some wonderful images of the beginning of her day. We then went on to St. Joseph Church in Gretna, where she met and married her handsome husband Daniel. It’s a grand old church, and made for a lovely ceremony. We then proceeded to the Balcony Ballroom to celebrate their union with much merriment. The topped off the festivities with a second line dance before beginning their new life together. All together, simply a perfect day for a fantastic couple!
